TERMS OF SERVICE
These Terms of Service ("Terms") outline the conditions under which you may access and use Stock Compass (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
These Terms apply to all relationships concerning the use of the Service between the User and the Operator. Any specific regulations or guidelines posted by the Operator on the Service also constitute a part of these Terms.
Registration for the Service is completed when a prospective user agrees to these Terms, completes the authentication process using a Google account, and the Operator approves the registration.
The User is responsible for appropriately managing their account information for the Service. The Operator shall not be held liable for any damages arising from inadequate management, misuse, or third-party use of the account information.
Users must not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service:
The Operator may suspend or interrupt all or part of the Service without prior notice to the User if any of the following circumstances apply:
The Operator shall not be liable for any disadvantages or damages suffered by the User or third parties due to the suspension or interruption of the Service.
The stock price data, charts, analysis information, etc. (hereinafter "Market Data") displayed on the Service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute investment advice, investment recommendations, or a solicitation to invest.
Market Data is obtained from external data providers, and the Operator does not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. The Operator shall not be held liable for any damages resulting from errors, delays, or omissions in the Market Data.
Users shall make their final investment decisions at their own risk, and the Operator shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for any damages incurred due to investment decisions made based on the use of the Service.
Additionally, data displayed in this Service may be delayed, temporarily unavailable, or partially missing due to system failures, external data provider outages, network issues, or other technical factors. The Operator does not guarantee the update frequency or real-time availability of data.
The Service offers a Free Plan and Paid Plans (Standard, Pro, Ultra). Usage fees, payment methods, cancellation terms, etc. for Paid Plans are defined on the pricing page within the Service and in the representation based on the Specified Commercial Transactions Act.
The contract period for Paid Plans is monthly and will automatically renew unless the User completes the cancellation process. Cancellation is possible at any time. Upon cancellation, the User's account will transition to the Free Plan starting from the next renewal date. After completing the cancellation process, the User may continue to use the paid plan features until the end of the current billing period. As a general rule, usage fees that have already been paid are non-refundable.
Plan upgrades (changes to a higher-tier plan) take effect immediately. The remaining balance from the previous plan's billing period will be prorated and credited toward the new plan's charges. Plan downgrades (changes to a lower-tier plan) take effect at the end of the current billing period (i.e., on the next renewal date).
Users may delete their account (withdraw from the Service) at any time from the Settings page within the Service.
Upon completion of the account deletion process, all data including account information, portfolio data, archive data, and memos will be immediately and permanently deleted. Deleted data cannot be recovered under any circumstances.
If a User on a Paid Plan deletes their account, the Stripe subscription will be automatically cancelled. As a general rule, usage fees that have already been paid are non-refundable.
The Operator may, without prior notice, restrict a User from using all or part of the Service or erase their registration if the User falls under any of the following:
The Operator does not expressly or impliedly guarantee that the Service is free from factual or legal defects (including flaws, errors or bugs, or infringements of rights relating to safety, reliability, accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, fitness for a particular purpose, security, etc.).
The Operator shall not be liable for any damages incurred by the User arising out of the Service, except in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence by the Operator.
The Operator may change, add to, or abolish the contents of the Service with prior notice to the User, and the User consents to this.
The Operator may change these Terms without requiring individual consent from the User in the following cases:
When changing these Terms, the Operator will notify Users of the change, the contents of the revised Terms, and their effective date by posting a notice on the Service prior to the effective date.
Personal information of Users acquired through the use of the Service shall be handled appropriately in accordance with the Privacy Policy of the Service.
The interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute relating to the Service, the Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive agreement jurisdictional court of the first instance.
